Do you know what Mardi Gras is?

Go to this website and do the video listening activity!

I don't have time to practise listening.

No more cheap excuses. Do you have 1 minute a day? Then you can practise. Here you can find a super summary of the news, and it lasts....(oh surprise!) just 1 minute!!!
BBC 1 minute news
CNN 1 minute news (for me this one is not as good as the BBC's, but you are listening to AmE)

Listening to the news about Spain in English

Here you have the news about Spain but in English. It's a really interesting website to learn current vocabulary about the present context in Spain. You can even download the files.

Homework for Básico 1

As you all know I'll be away for two weeks, but I don't want you to get bored at home until 12th March when we will start with the lessons again. So I thought it would be a good idea to read a book. It must be a graded reader and the level elementary. Don't forget your library card to borrow a book next day!
Enjoy your "holidays"!

In short. Homework for Básico 1, read a graded book level elementary. You can borrow (tomar prestado) it from the class library.
